Goetre Holiday Cottages consists of three beautifully restored self catering holiday properties, each one unique in its own way, set in five and half acres with woodland and nature trail. The 16th century Farmhouse can sleep up to 13 people, The Granary sleeps up to 6 people and The Tram sleeps 2 people.
The Goetre dates back to the 1500’s and is full of character with ingle nook fireplaces, beams and a wealth of history. There is a secluded private back garden, ideal for gatherings of family or friends. There is direct access to mature woodland. There is a small stream that runs through the bog garden.
The Granary is a beautiful self-catering rural retreat, open plan new kitchen/sitting room with wood burner. It is located in beautiful upland Montgomeryshire on the eastern escarpment of Bryn Y Fan on the Cambrian Mountains and has spectacular 35 mile views down the Trannon and Severn Valleys and situated at 1100 feet.
This Tram is the bottom ‘First Class’ deck of what was a Double Decker. Built by the Wallasey Tram Company in the early 1900s and has been lovingly restored and refurbished to offer bespoke holiday accommodation. The tram has masses of original features and a few additions to include a wood burner, double bed, outdoor kitchen, lovely veranda with spectacular views across the valley to the distant Welsh mountains.
