Based 3 miles from Llanidloes I am a widely-published wildlife photographer with a particular interest in macro (close-up) photography. Images for publication are available in digital format direct from the photographer or several agencies with full on-line services. Links to these are on my own website, as are details of how to order prints of photographs. Commissioned work of all sorts can be undertaken.
For those wishing to improve their own photography I teach various aspects of photography on one to one tuition or to small groups. Workshops are held at Llwynderw, our 140 acre organic farm near Llanidloes. An ideal venue for practical work in all fields of outdoor photography, with indoor facilities for tuition and computer-based workshops.
Courses run from 10am-4pm and include lunch using our own Organic produce and other local or organic foods.
The content of the day will be tailored to your own needs and cover digital and film based photography.
Examples of subjects which could be covered in the day include:
Basic photography. - explaining focal lengths, apertures and shutter speeds and their effects on the image.
Getting the best from your camera. – ever wondered what 'that button' does?
